Pulau Aman is a small island not far away from Penang. Pulau Aman is located at Batu Kawan somewhere around Tambun, Seberang Perai. The small island is reachable by ferry that cost RM6 per adult for 2 ways. Rm4 is for 1 way trip. The ferry start its operation at 10am daily. On Malaysia day, I reached the jetty around 12 something. The jetty is full of people and i have to wait for nearly an hour to step onto the boat. Pulau Aman is famous with its Mee Udang.
There are two restaurant on the island. One of the famous restaurant known as Restaurant Terapung where its located on your left hand side once you reach Pulau Aman. Another restaurant is on your right hand side.
There are only 3 types of food available there. Mee udang, nasi goreng and mee goreng. The mee udang is cost RM6.
This prawn is cost RM20 during public holiday. I am not sure with the price on normal day. You can purchase it near the restaurant and request the chef in the restaurant to cook it. Additional charges required.My advise is don't go to the small island during public holiday. The service is terrible. The way they talk is very rude. Besides, you have to waste your time waiting for the boat.
